– Specialty Coffee
A good thing today was that I got to go for a coffee at Specialty Coffee, my favorite coffee place of all time. So far, anyway. And it’s only a 20-minute train ride away. After spending a couple of hours running errands and running into things I was looking for but was not seeking, I finally reached the coffee place.

All time best barista was there, and he knew what I needed, a double espresso as usual. I had to choose between two sorts of coffee and I made sure it was made of 100 % arabica beans. I took the darkest roasted one, and with a taste of chocolate and licorice. I’ve had, by mistake, at some points a double espresso made on robusta beans, and the turnout was feeling like a Duracell rabbit. Even though I was a bit tired from walking, I didn’t want to get that speeded.
My favorite table was free. I sat down, took up the writing book and a pen and started writing. A couple of minutes later, my coffee was brought to the table. Mmm… experienced a great taste, and that I knew would last for a long, time filled my mouth. Having coffee, writing, and breathing got the energy back, and it was time for the day’s last treat – visiting the contemporary art exhibition hall. “Continuous Shift” – an exhibition on digital art.

And a second good thing today was seeing the exhibition. The art pieces were about technology, art, and its interaction with humans.
Questions posed by the exhibitors were among many: What does the human relationship to technology and digitalization look like at a time when they seem to be in fusion? Can the differences between life, art, and technology be distinguishable? How do professional contemporary artists work with constantly new digital opportunities?
I met a former colleague whom I hadn’t seen for many years before I left the art hall. It was the third real good thing that happened today.
I jumped on the delayed train and headed home. Wow, yet a fabulous day in life. What special moment made your day?
